• NAB Customer Flood Impacted Grants: NAB customers directly impacted by the current floods are currently able to receive initial support including $1,000 business grants to help restart or reopen and cover the cost of damaged property, equipment and for loss of stock. Customers will also be able to receive immediate access to $1,000 grants to help cover costs such as temporary accommodation, food and clothing (NAB, 2022).Contact your local bank directly. Otherwise, NAB business customers wishing to access the business grant can call 1300 769 650 and NAB personal customers can call 1300 308 132.
  • Westpac: Westpac is offering financial help for Queensland and New South Wales in relation to the current floods. Small business customers can apply for $3,000 in cash grants per customer group to help assist with urgent repairs and expenses. Eligible criteria applies.Please call their customer assist team on 1800 067 497 or contact your local bank (Westpac, 2022).
  • Commonwealth Bank: Commonwealth customers impacted by the floods can enquire for Emergency Assistance. Customers can apply for customised loan payment arrangements and waived fees and charges. For CommInsure customers whose home has been damaged, assisted can be provided in regards to emergency accommodation.Please call Emergency Assist on 1800 314 695 or visit your local branch where it is safe to do so (Commonwealth Bank, 2022).
  • ANZ: ANZ Customers, personal or business, affected by natural disasters including floods or storms are able to access Disaster relief Package options. ANZ are offering, short-term payment relief on home loans and credit cards, waiving fees for restructuring business loans and accessing term deposits early.If you have ANZ Home and Contents Insurance, emergency funds and temporary accommodation may be eligible for some customers. Please call your local ANZ Relationship Manager first. Alternatively, you can call customer support on 1800 149 549 (ANZ, 2022).
